Product Description.: 4:00 p.m. ET --
Product Name:Viagra(sildenafil citrate) - 4 p.m.
Active Ingredients: Sildenafil Citrate is used to treat erectile dysfunction. Sildenafil citrate is a type of drug known as a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) inhibitor. It relaxes the blood vessels in the penis, increasing blood flow and making it easier for men to get and keep an erection. It is a PDE5 inhibitor and works by helping the blood vessels in your penis to dilate, thus helping you achieve and maintain an erection.
Other Ingredients:
L-arginine, a naturally occurring amino acid that causes muscle relaxation and increases blood flow, is also a PDE5 inhibitor. L-arginine relaxes muscles in your blood vessels, thus allowing blood to flow more freely. It also helps to improve blood flow to your penis by increasing blood flow. This is because L-arginine helps nitric oxide (NO) relaxes and dilates muscles in the blood vessels, resulting in increased blood flow and improved blood flow to the penis when you are sexually excited.
Dosage Instructions: One tablet of Sildenafil should be taken with or without food, but should be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. It is important to avoid taking Sildenafil with grapefruit juice, because this can increase the amount of Sildenafil that can be absorbed by the body.
Warnings: Sildenafil is not approved for use in women or children. It should not be used by individuals who are pregnant or who are breastfeeding. Before taking Sildenafil, tell your doctor if you are allergic to it, or if you have any other allergies. Before taking Sildenafil, it is important to discuss your medical history with your doctor.
Cautions: It is important to avoid taking Sildenafil if you are allergic to any ingredients in the drug, as this will not result in an allergic reaction.
Side Effects: Some men may experience mild side effects such as headaches, facial flushing, or blurred vision. These are usually temporary and will improve within a few days. If you experience any severe side effects such as chest pain, shortness of breath, or numbness, tingling, or swelling in your chest, arms, neck, or jaw, stop and call your doctor right away. Other side effects may include stomach discomfort, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. If you experience any severe side effects, such as a vision change or hearing loss, stop taking Sildenafil and call your doctor right away. If you experience any serious side effects, such as a severe skin reaction, get in touch a second time.
Drug Interactions: Sildenafil may interact with other medications, including:
Use: Taking Sildenafil with certain drugs, including nitrates, medicines for heart conditions, medicines for high blood pressure, and certain antibiotics can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
How to Use: Take one tablet about 30 to 60 minutes before sexual activity. The tablet should be swallowed whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet, as this can cause serious damage to the drug. Do not take more than one tablet within 24 hours.
Possible Side Effects: The most common side effects of Sildenafil include headache, facial flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, and back pain. These side effects usually improve with time. However, if you experience any side effects that persist or become bothersome, call your doctor right away. Some side effects may require medical attention for serious concerns to appear.
: Sildenafil may interact with certain medications that contain nitrates, such as nitroglycerin and isosorbide dinitrate. Combining these two drugs can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Nitrates and isosorbide dinitrate are also found in some recreational drugs. Taking Sildenafil with an alpha blocker like amyl nitrite and isosorbide dinitrate can cause dangerous drops in blood pressure. Do not take Sildenafil with other PDE5 inhibitors or recreational drugs containing nitrates.
In its approval, the FDA has approved the drug's generic version of the widely used impotence drug, known by the brand name, Viagra, as "Sildenafil Citrate" for treatment of erectile dysfunction.
The new generic drug, developed by Pfizer Inc. and available under the brand name, sildenafil, is indicated for treatment of erectile dysfunction. It is the first such drug on the market that is approved for use in the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
The FDA said it believes it is the first drug for which it has data to demonstrate that its efficacy is clinically proven. It has also received approval for use in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension, which occurs when pulmonary vascular resistance (PVR) is insufficient to allow blood flow sufficient to produce a sustained erection.
The FDA said it believes the benefits of sildenafil in treating erectile dysfunction have been shown in animal and clinical studies. The agency is continuing to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the drug and has taken additional steps in the future to ensure it remains on the market.
Dr. David P. McAllister, chairman of cardiovascular medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, said the agency is conducting studies to determine the long-term safety and effectiveness of sildenafil for erectile dysfunction.
"Our primary objective is to evaluate how well the drug works in patients who have a known or suspected heart disease, coronary artery disease, or peripheral vascular disease. In addition, we are investigating the long-term safety and efficacy of sildenafil in patients with diabetes and who are receiving oral diabetes medications, to evaluate the relationship between the use of the drug and cardiovascular risk factors and its effectiveness in those patients," he said.
The FDA's approval of the drug will be in addition to approval for use in the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
Sildenafil, marketed by Pfizer Inc., is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in men. Pfizer, which markets sildenafil, has not commented on its decision to continue selling the drug, but said it would discuss the drug's potential to cause a new blood vessel disease known as angina.
The FDA has previously approved the drug for treatment of erectile dysfunction in men by improving blood flow to the penis. The FDA has also approved sildenafil for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension.
The drug is the first such drug on the market that is approved for use in the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
The first drug approved for the treatment of erectile dysfunction by the FDA has been marketed in the United States since 1998. The drug is marketed under the brand name, Viagra. In 2007, Pfizer and its generic partner, generic drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline, filed lawsuits against the company and the pharmaceutical company in an effort to prevent generic competitors from competing for the market of the drug. The company was first to file a lawsuit against Pfizer in February 2010, but Pfizer's attorney, Dr. Kenneth Cerin, said in an interview that the company is taking the legal action against the drug maker. The litigation was filed under thePatent for Medicinal Products Act(PAM), which requires manufacturers to show that they have shown that their product, when used in a manner that is consistent with the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is sold, is effective.
The cheapest erectile dysfunction (ED) pills are generic Viagra, called.
The term "generic" refers to the active ingredient of a medicine or drug rather than to the advertised brand name under which the medicine is sold. It is a term referring to any drug marketed under its chemical name without advertising.
Pfizer made the originaltablet that is often referred to as the “blue pill”.The patent expired in 2013 which then allowed other pharmaceutical manufactures to make a generic version under the name of the active ingredient called Sildenafil. They are exactly the same medically and perform in the same way with the same side-effects.
As with most branded products, Viagra is sold at a higher price, therefore the generic tablets sold asare much cheaper.
Medically there is no difference between a generic medicine and the branded medicine, as they both have the same active ingredients to make them perform in the same way. They only differ in the “bulking” agents used to fill the tablet as the amount of active ingredient required, in this case Sildenafil, is very small. This makes the tablets bigger and easier to handle.
The main difference between generic andbranded named prescription medicines is cost with generics being much cheaper
